The Veescan-H

The Veescan H is designed to lift the wheel and fix it with an automatic adaptor that uses the wheel inertia to centre it. Veescan H offers an integrated roller tray for easy manoeuvrability and integration into a conveyor system and also features an automatic hub size adaptor. Veescan H can test wheels up to 900mm diameter.

The Veescan R clamps the wheel with a pneumatic cylinder. With pneumatic control and electronics incorporated within the frame it allows access to the rotating table from three open sides. The Model R is manufactured in two sizes to accommodate two different wheel size categories; for wheels under 600mm in diameter and for wheels under 900mm in diameter.

Ultrasonic Immersion Tanks for non-destructive testing

The basic mechanical concept for the tanks can be applied from lengths ranging from 1m to 15m and widths ranging from 0.3m to 3m. There is also the potential for easy upgrading at any time. The standard system has three motor controlled linear axis, X, Y and Z however other manual or motor controlled, angular or external axis can be installed.

CETA- Ultrasonic Wall Crawlers

Automatic Ultrasonic Wall Crawler systems for continuous ultrasonic thickness measurement on storage tank shells (walls) with data presented on a PC screen, recording and automatic evaluation according to API-653. Very fast, with outstanding strength and manoeuvrability, the systems allow a safe operation on up to 25m high tank walls either welded or riveted. NDT is pleased to be able to offer two CETA UT Wall Crawler; the CETA 2 which can pass over heavily riveted plates and the CETA 2013 which can cater for the majority of Ultrasonic Wall Crawler needs.

Allows speeds up to 200 mm/s measuring every 1 mm with accurate control of position (measurement accuracy is better than 0.1 mm). Dedicated system software to API 653 standard that allows user defined thresholds for signal filtering and data processing. Including calculation of average values within a defined range plus actual minimum and maximum allowable tank capacity. Inspect at distances up to 25m from the control panel, which more than covers the height of existing storage tanks.

Spotcraft is a state of the art digitial ultrasonic inspcetion system for the inspection of spot welds, primarily in car bodies; uniquely offering dry coupled ultrasonic measurement capability. The system is suitable for manual testing of spot welds having diamters from 2.5mm to 8mm. this is achieved by using a customizzed transducers and deley line. Reliable manual inspection of spot welds using dry coupling ultrasounds within a frequency range from 15 to 20MHz. Software functionality guides the operator through the programmed inspcetion sequence. Software performs automatic data capture and A-scan evaluation in a accordance with user defiend thresholds and input spot weld data.

Sliding Phased Array Probes

Introducing the new Tecnitest Phased Array sliding probes. They are 5 MHz transducers with 32, 64 or 128 elements, pitch of 0.8 or 1 mm and twin positioning encoders. (Other frequencies and features are available) These transducer carriages have been specifically designed to be used in the Aerospace manufacturing industry (composite parts inspection), but can also be utilized for any hand held high speed inspection process that uses phased array technology. The rubber molding has also been designed to ensure optimum coupling between the transducer and the component with the minimum amount of couplant.

Inspection speed much higher than with conventional Phased Array (PA) transducers as they have a methacrylate sole.
Contact is almost dry avoiding annoying irrigation systems.
